On May 28, 2021, Great American Life became a wholly-owned subsidiary of MassMutual; holders of an AM Best Rating of A++ and an S&P Rating of AA+.
There will be no changes to the distribution strategy. All Agent Appointments, B/D Agreements and Selling agreements will remain intact, and the sale will not affect clients’ annuity contracts that have already been issued. For more information, see the May 28th press release.
