Lafayette Life Announces a Dividend Increase |
The Lafayette Life Insurance Company is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has approved a record $67.3 million dividend allocation in 2020 to policyholders, once again demonstrating our strong financial position. This all-time high dividend payout marks the 115th consecutive year that Lafayette Life will be paying a dividend.
2020 Dividend Rate Increased to 5.2%
The 2020 payout reflects an increased dividend interest rate at 5.2%, effective 11/23/2019 for all dividend-paying policies in the 2020 Series of Whole Life insurance products. The effective date for all dividend-paying policies written after June 15, 2005 that are not part of the 2020 Series will be 1/1/2020.
