Lincoln Important Change to MoneyGuard Backdating Rules
- February 7, 2024
- Carrier News, Long Term Care
Effective Monday (Feb 12th) Lincoln will no longer offer backdating to save age for MoneyGuard.
The insured’s insurance age will be the client’s actual age when the application is signed. Lincoln will save age for up to one month after the insured’s birthday if the policy is placed within 30 days of the client’s age change during the underwriting process.
This change will not impact a business that is already in-house.
