Transamerica – New Increased Non -Med Rules

Transamerica Non-Med limits are increasing in both the maximum face amount, as well as the rate classes available. Up to $2,000,000 to age 45 and $1,000,000 to age 55 – all rate classes including the best class Preferred Plus.

Trendsetter Super and FFIUL

• Ages 18–45 and $100,000–$2 million face amount, all rate classes available
• Ages 46–55 and $100,000–$1 million face amount, all rate classes available

Trendsetter LB

•  Ages 18–45 and $250,000–$2 million face amount, all rate classes available
• Ages 46–55 and $250,000–$1 million face amount, all rate classes available

Currently, under the temporary Covid UW rules, out best class is Standard Plus. Does moving from Standard Plus to Preferred Plus make that big of a difference? Absolutely!

Example:

• Male age 55, 20 Year Term, Standard Plus, $1,000,000 Premium: $4,180
• Male age 55, 20 Year Term, Preferred Plus, $1,000,000 Premium: $2,610

Example:

• Male age 45, 20 Year Term, Standard Plus, $2,000,000 Premium: $3,570
• Male age 45, 20 Year Term, Preferred Plus, $2,000,000 Premium: $2,050

As you can see, including Transamerica best class Preferred Plus can be a huge saving to your clients.
