NEW Critical Illness Triggers for California Clients

On Saturday, June 24, six Critical Illness triggers will become available in California for issue ages 0-64 on all life insurance products.

New triggers:

• Aorta Graft Surgery
• Aplastic Anemia
• Cystic Fibrosis
• Heart Valve Replacement
• Motor Neuron Disease
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest

These will be in addition to the seven Critical Illness triggers that are already available.

• Diagnosis of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease)
• Blindness
• End-Stage Renal Failure
• Heart Attack
• Invasive Cancer
• Major Organ Transplant
• Stroke

Clients must have health coverage to qualify. Starting June 24, invasive cancer will be the only type of cancer that qualifies as a trigger.
