Athene is modifying their suitability process and related forms for business written in Minnesota.
The new forms (Ver. 11/21), specific to Minnesota, will be available on Athene Connect beginning November 13, 2021, and should be used immediately. Be sure to use up-to-date materials when offering Athene annuities.
Minnesota Customer Identification and Suitability Confirmation Worksheet: Form number 25115.
Minnesota Product Comparison Worksheets (PCWs): Form number varies by product.
Please note: Electronic applications initiated prior to, but not yet e-signed by market close (3 p.m. CT) November 12, 2021, will require the new forms.
In addition to the forms listed above, Athene has also created Minnesota Standard of Care Guidelines for Producers – Suitability and Best Interest (52278, 11/21). These guidelines will also be available on Athene Connect beginning November 13, 2021.
