Regulatory changes in Idaho affect availability of Athene MaxRate®
Effective immediately – Due to state regulation changes, Athene is temporarily suspending the sale of Athene MaxRate 3-, 5- and 7-year products in Idaho. Friday, June 12 will be the last day to submit an Idaho application for these products until further notice.
In order to issue your application, the following criteria must be met:
The application must be signed on or before June 12, 2020 and received at Athene* by market close (3 p.m. CT) on June 12, 2020. For applications submitted on AnnuityNet or Affirm (where no sign date was provided), the application signed date is the date the electronic order is submitted to your back office for final review.
The contract must be in good order, suitability review complete (if applicable) and all funds received at Athene by market close (3 p.m. CT) onJune 30, 2020. This includes any applications from order entry systems that have been submitted by the 6/12 deadline but remain in a firm’s review queue.
If the above deadlines are not met, a new application for a different product will need to be submitted.
